31 Weeks!

How far along: 31 weeks!

Due Date: Jan. 31, 2014

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Too much. Oh well.

Maternity clothes: I've been in maternity clothes since 6-7 weeks

Stretch marks: I got a few during my second pregnancy but haven't gotten any more with this one.

Sleep: Great! I've been sleeping like a rock all night and usually take a long nap with C every afternoon.

Symptoms: Tired, achy, hormonal, emotional and the heartburn has kicked in. I think my ankles are starting to swell a bit too. But overall I'm doing great!

Food cravings: Nothing

Food aversions: Just the thought of cinnamon and sugar is making me gag lately. I realized this the other day when I ordered my old favorite, a morning bun, at Starbucks. Gag. I don't know what happened but suddenly anything with cinnamon and sugar is way too sweet and SO gross. Ha! And I couldn't eat sweet potato casserole at Thanksgiving, which is normally another favorite of mine.

Labor signs: Nothing

Belly button - in or out? Neither, really.

What I miss: Feeling normal, walking without aches and pains, being able to breathe easily and sleep on my belly...

What I am looking forward to: Meeting our sweet baby!!

Movement: I feel the baby move several times a day. And she loves music.. just like my other babies did. C fell in love with Katy Perry's ROAR on GMA and the baby seems to love it too! Haha!

Milestones: I'm almost 8 months now!

How big is baby: (According to Baby Center)This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3 1/3 pounds (about the size of a coconut) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin. She's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

Gender: It's a GIRL!!! Since we weren't able to find out for sure in the earlier sonograms we were just going to wait until the baby was born to find out but I got too impatient. I had a 3D sonogram last week and we were able to confirm, for sure this time, that it is a girl!

Names: We're pretty sure we have a first and middle name. Still working on a second middle name.

Best moment(s) last week: Having a great 3D sonogram appointment and finding out for sure what we are having!! And starting to shop for baby girl things!! :)
