Easter 2020

I have a tradition of taking pics of the kids every Easter. We didn't buy any new Easter clothes this year so I just had them change into spring colored clothes they already had. I had them jump in this picture on a whim and just couldn't resist captioning it "Hoppy Easter" lol.

I discovered a few different edits on an app on my phone so played around with those a bit.

It started storming right after we came in from taking pictures so I set up a little Easter egg hunt upstairs and the kids opened their baskets.

I found these candies with ducks beaks and rabbit teeth for the kids haha!

Right before bedtime in her Christmas jammies and bunny ears haha!

We didn't get around to decorating Easter Eggs yesterday so we'll

probably do that this evening. Here is a look back at our past several Easters.

Hope everyone had a great Easter!!

Easter!

I totally forgot to post about Easter. We did a low key, indoor Easter egg hunt at a small church nearby on Saturday, the day before Easter.

The girls enjoyed getting their faces painted!

And Easter Sunday after church! Their outfits were all over the place this year ha!! S is in a play dress because she hates dresses and I didn't want to spend money on something fancy that she wouldn't want to wear. I prepared her days in advance that she would be wearing the dress above for Easter. And L insisted on wearing a hand-me-down dress from her cousins both Saturday for the egg hunt and on Easter Sunday.. so I had to wash it Saturday night. I didn't even bother with sandals for the little girls this year. S is going through a picky, picky, picky stage when it comes to shoes. She only wants to wear those light-up Paw Patrol tennis shoes from Wal-Mart ha! And L needs more expensive shoes. I haven't gotten her good supportive sandals this year.. still searching for a good, affordable pair that she can wear with inserts. So anyway.. both girls ended up in tennis shoes and dresses this year lol! C only wears tennis shoes despite having a nice pair of leather sandals that he won't touch. Anyway, here is a look back at a few Easters.

Easter 2013, Part 2

Easter baskets & Easter eggs

The kids' cute silhouettes

And in their Easter outfits. J had a fever Easter morning so we ended up staying home all day. The kids were in these clothes for about 5 minutes while I snapped a few pics. Every year we put C in about the same thing for Easter... I guess we're not big on dressing boys up. :) J had a little jacket to go with her dress but it was a warm day and she left it off for the pictures. She had 4 potential Easter dresses in her closet to choose from and she wanted to wear this one from her Grandma. :) So sweet.

Easter 2013, Part 1

This was our first time decorating eggs with the kids. You can see they were pretty excited. Ha! They had so much fun!

I'm not quite sure what's up with some of J's "smiles". Ha! Long story but she wasn't happy with her very shy {non} smile on a photo from school and she said something about smiling different next time. I think she's practicing a new smile or something now. Haha!

Saturday morning we took the kids to our church for their {first ever} Easter egg hunt. The kids had so much fun even though they only found a few eggs each. Our church was packed

After the egg hunt we stopped by Panda Express for lunch and the kids opened up their eggs.

C fell asleep on the way home with chocolate all over his face. Ha!

And J was thrilled with the ring she found in one of her eggs. :)
