so sick!

I'm irritated. I won't lie. I had all these blog posts I was hoping to post this past week... Christmas Eve, Christmas, 2013 in review, etc but life got in the way and lucky me came down with not just the flu but flu AND strep AND three days/nights of migraines around the clock. Ugh. Obviously, I couldn't even open my laptop during that time. My headaches were so bad I could barely even look at my phone.



We've obviously spent the last several days at home. My kids have had low grade fevers but don't seem any worse for the wear. They still have tons of energy and they're bouncing off the walls. C seems a little more tired than normal but nothing too bad. They have little coughs but thankfully no one seems to have my sore throat from you-know-where. My throat has never hurt so bad. Ever. I can hardly drink ice water. I'm praying my kids won't get this awful sore throat. It would be unbearable for them. :( I waited four days to get to the doctor and I'm sick (no pun intended) that I waited so long. I should've gone to the doctor first thing yesterday morning. My mom has been amazing, again, and came over yesterday and today to help out. I'm praying she doesn't get sick. I don't think I would be brave enough to go into a house full of germs to help anyone out.



We'll be spending New Year's Eve night at home... hopefully staying awake long enough to ring in the New Year, then staying home all day tomorrow. I'm SO happy to be headache free today and praying my sore throat goes away quickly. This house is a major wreck. I'm anxious to clean house and get things all clean and organized for the New Year and ready to welcome the new baby. Just four more weeks now until my due date!!! :)
