I'm linking up with Misc. Monday today.
Lots going on around here!
1 - First off welcome to my new blog! I'm excited because I have my own domain name for the first time! Please take a moment to follow my blog via GFC. You can also "like" me on Facebook. Please comment that you did and I will be sure to follow back. :)
2 - J starts school for the first time tomorrow! We're super excited about that. She picked out her little backpack and lunch bag over the weekend.
3 - I've just joined up with the Biggest Loser Challenge. I'm really excited to start losing weight and getting in shape! My first goal is to write down everything I eat or drink and drink TONS of water each day. I also want to start walking several times a week.
4 - We had a mouse in our house over the Christmas holidays. We were in bed one night with the kids sound machine on, a fan on and I had earphones in my ears but I managed to hear a loud rustling in our closet. I told my husband I heard a noise and the mouse must be in the closet. My husband was really skeptical that I could hear anything over all the other noise. Well, we went ahead and set up a sticky trap with a piece of cheese in the center and guess what we caught literally 2 minutes after we set up the trap and went back to bed? Yep, that little mouse was in our closet. We had sticky traps set up for a couple days but apparently he needed the lure of cheese. Poor thing. I couldn't even look at it after it was caught. So sad.
5 - I've recently started going to a nearby chiropractor several times a week. This particular chiropractor wants her patients to be able to come in as often as needed and she really works with her clients so that you can come in several times a week if needed. I get frequent migraines that have gotten even worse lately. It's a huge blessing to me to be able to get to the chiropractor so often. I feel like it's helping and I'm going to keep going as often as I can. J is also getting adjustments several times a week. I'm learning that chiropractic work has lots of benefits, even for children.
Hope everyone is having a Happy New Year!! :)
